Aloe vera gel - travel format

Our Bioflore aloe vera gel is 94.9% fresh native juice from the pulp of the aloe vera plant, not processed into powder and not rehydrated. It therefore has all the therapeutic properties of aloe vera.

INCI: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Aqua, Caesalpinia Spinosa Gum, Sodium Levulinate, Glyceryl Caprylate, Sodium Anisate.

• proportion of fresh juice: 94.9 % 
• Caesalpina spinosa gum: or Tara gum, a 100% natural gum used to thicken and stabilise gels and emulsions. It also acts as a texture agent, giving them a structuring effect and a very soft feel. This thickening agent comes directly from the plant world (whereas xanthan gum requires chemical processing to be produced). The choice of this vegetable gum supports farming communities in Peru, its country of origin.
• the preservatives are strictly of plant origin: sodium levulinate comes from maize, sodium anisate comes from basil.
• Glyceryl Caprylate is derived from coconut oil: this plant compound nourishes and moisturises the skin and helps give the gel a velvety texture. It also helps to preserve the gel.

Why ‘Aqua’ in the formulation?

The water in question was used to bind the preservatives. It is not part of the composition itself. Although it is present in tiny quantities, regulations still require it to be mentioned
