    Ultra-fine grey rhassoul

Rhassoul is a volcanic clay that washes hair and skin without surfactants, in a gentle and 100% biodegradable way. Also called "ghassoul", it absorbs impurities from the hair and skin without altering the hydrolipidic film. Purifying and softening, rhassoul can be used to create natural shampoos, masks and care products for the face and body. It is a hammam essential!

Our rhassoul is now packaged in kraft bags! Properties The rhassoul we offer is ultra-fine grey rhassoul with a silky touch. Very pure, it represents the optimal form of this mineral. Extracted from the deep layers, it is not mixed with surface rhassoul, also known as "red rhassoul". Unique: our rhassoul is subject to a microbiological analysis certifying the total absence of germs: Candida albicans, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus. A natural way of washing that respects the skin and hair Rhassoul is a natural clay mineral extracted from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. In North Africa, rhassoul has been traditionally used for centuries for cleaning and caring for the hair and skin. It is an integral part of the "hammam culture". Rhassoul cleans according to physical principles, unlike conventional surfactant-based shampoos and soaps. When mixed with water, it swells to form a gel with a pleasant consistency. It is made up of very fine particles and has a high exchange capacity, i.e. it absorbs superfluous impurities and grease like a blotter. These can then be rinsed away. This very gentle washing process does not remove the hydrolipidic film from the skin and hair, as aggressive surfactants can do. A rhassoul wash does not attack the hair's natural protective sheath or the skin's protective acid film. Nor does it irritate the sebaceous glands. Hair beauty Rhassoul purifies, softens and cleanses the hair without damaging it. It adds natural body, sheathes and gives volume to the hair. Beauty of the skin Rhassoul cleanses the skin and unclogs pores in a very gentle way. It can be used as a gentle cleanser on the face and body or can be incorporated into recipes for scrubs and slow beauty masks. How to proceed? There is no need to completely eliminate your usual shampoos and shower gels. For example, out of 4 successive washes, give your skin the respite of a rhassoul wash. Pour into a bowl the quantity necessary for a shampoo or a complete shower. Mix with water to obtain a paste consistency that is neither too thick nor too liquid. Add vegetable oil and/or essential oil according to your needs. For example, for hair: Energétique Cheveux or a few drops of Patchouli essential oil. Rhassoul, in slightly higher doses, can be used for an effective and gentle peeling. Mix it with rose hydrosol to obtain a fairly thick paste. Or add it to a cream or gel. External use.
