Our opinion

An essential oil that is still too little known for our taste, despite a good balance between its various constituents and a very affordable price for a representative of the "hyssopus" genus. It can be an interesting alternative to some Eucalyptus when their smell is not too appealing!

Note

Do not confuse it with Hyssopus officinalis L. ssp offinalis, which is neurotoxic and abortifacient, and is banned from sale to the public.

Precautions for use

Not to be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under 6 years of age without medical advice.
Contraindicated in patients with epilepsy or a history of seizures.
Not recommended for asthmatics (especially for inhalation or diffusion). Cineole essential oils should not be used in asthmatics as a first line of treatment without medical advice.
Not for oral use, always use the skin.
Risk of allergy (limonene): take care not to overdose in mixtures. An elbow test is recommended prior to any skin application (min 48 hours before use).
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with the eyes.
Store away from heat and light.
