Organic rock hyssop essential oil

A beautiful aromatic plant with a warm, camphorated fragrance, which grows in the sunny, rocky areas of the Pyrenees. Its stem, with fine, elongated leaves, is woody at the base and downy at the top. Its reddish-blue flowers emerge in compact spikes, scenting and colouring the landscape. All its vivacity is expressed in its essential oil with rich, herbaceous, fresh and spicy facets.

Our opinion An essential oil that is still too little known for our taste, despite a good balance between its various constituents and a very affordable price for a representative of the "hyssopus" genus. It can be an interesting alternative to some Eucalyptus when their smell is not too appealing! Precautions for use Not to be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under 6 years of age without medical advice. Contraindicated in patients with epilepsy or a history of seizures. Not recommended for asthmatics (especially for inhalation or diffusion). Cineole essential oils should not be used in asthmatics as a first line of treatment without medical advice. Not for oral use, always use the skin. Risk of allergy (limonene): take care not to overdose in mixtures. An elbow test is recommended prior to any skin application (min 48 hours before use). Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with the eyes. Store away from heat and light.
