    Ajowan essential oil

    A large herb from southern India, called Indian Thyme and also grown in the Middle East. Ajowan has fine downy leaves and white flowers in umbels. Its seeds are similar to those of cumin, caraway or dill. Traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine, their distillation produces an essential oil with powerful aromas typical of Mediterranean Thyme.

Simply run the bottle under warm water or warm it in your hand for a few minutes. Our opinion An amazing umbelliferous plant, relatively "soft" for a phenolic essential oil, but never forget to dilute it. Precautions for use Not for use by pregnant and breastfeeding women, and children under 12 years of age. Contraindicated in cases of hepatic impairment. Seek advice from a healthcare professional before use Dermocaustic essential oil when used pure, be sure to dilute it sufficiently for skin use (maximum 20% and on a small area). Risk of allergy (limonene, linalool): take care not to overdose in mixtures. An elbow test is recommended prior to any skin application (min 48 hours before use). Limit its use over time. Do not release alone (maximum concentration 5%). Avoid contact with the eyes. Keep out of reach of young children. Store away from heat and light.
