The essential oil from this particular chemotype of thyme has the originality of not containing any phenols. It contains monoterpenes and above all a large quantity and variety of monoterpenols, thujanol 4 in particular.

This essential oil is antibacterial, antiviral, antimycotic and immunostimulant all at once. In the daily context, it is famous for its ability to curb any respiratory infection in the throat. It has the particularity of toning and regenerating the liver.

By the molecular architecture and by the aroma imbued with a characteristic warmth, the EO of tujanol thyme evokes that of marjoram (Origanum majorana). It can therefore be used in the same way to revive nervous vitality and communicate the desire to act.
