This tree of the Lauraceae family grows in China and gives the essential oil Ho wood. If it grows in Madagascar, we obtain Ravintsara essential oil, which has a very different biochemical composition and properties... they must not be confused!

Ho Wood is one of the essential oils with the highest linalool content (over 90%). This typical relaxing note is little modulated by other molecules... it is thus all the more easily recognisable.

Less delicate than Rosewood essential oil, its olfaction nevertheless offers a nice cocoon of softness. Enveloping and comforting, it helps to chase away sadness and discouragement. It soothes, rebalances and invigorates.
