Cineole Myrtle
A shrub of the Corsican maquis, evergreen, with straight stems, almost red bark and small oval leaves. Its delicate white flowers give off a sweet fragrance, which popular traditions associate with youth, beauty and purity. Commonly used in cooking, like laurel or thyme, cineole myrtle, or green myrtle, produces an essential oil with a fresh, balsamic fragrance.
