    A large tree related to the Tea Tree and Niaouli, with whitish bark, evergreen leaves and delicate cream-coloured flowers arranged in spikes. Traditionally used in Asia, it was introduced into Europe in the 18th century. The essential oil extracted from its leaves comes from Vietnam. Tinged with eucalyptol, it is light and very fresh.

It is particularly representative of the Myrtaceae family with its characteristic scent. Precautions for use Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or in children under 6 years of age. Contraindicated in patients with epilepsy or a history of seizures. Not recommended for asthmatics. Caution in patients on immunosuppressants. For skin use and diffusion or inhalation only. Risk of allergy (limonene, linanool): take care not to overdose in mixtures. An elbow test is recommended prior to any skin application (min 48 hours before use). Avoid contact with the eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from heat and light.
