A large tree native to Australia that likes light-filled areas. It is characterised by its reddish branches. Its fragrant leaves are distilled to produce an essential oil with sweet and very fresh notes.

This eucalyptus provides a well-tolerated essential oil that is widely used in aromatherapy. Its essential oil contains mainly 1.8 cineole (or eucalyptol), as well as monoterpenols and monoterpenes. The 1.8 cineole is in the majority but does not exceed 70%. This essential oil is known for its mildness and safety.

This essential oil is an excellent neurotonic, whose action is mainly mental, favouring memory and intellectual acuity. In this respect, it can be compared to Rosemary officinalis CT 1.8 cineole, which is very similar to it.

  • Risk of allergy (limonene): take care not to overdose in mixtures. An elbow test is recommended prior to any skin application (at least 48 hours before use).
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes.
  • Keep away from sources of heat and light.
