We usually know it as pinkish-red, but each batch has a different colour depending on the climatic conditions, the maturity of the plant and where it was harvested. When working with living materials, it's nature that decides - there are no standards.

Hibiscus powder is renowned for its stimulating action on hair growth and for slowing down hair loss. It adds shine to all hair types and strengthens dull, tired and fine hair.
It is also known as a plant-based hair colourant: combined with henna, it adds mahogany highlights to the hair. Finally, it is also recommended for its anti-dandruff action.

How can it be used for hair beauty?

• in a shine and strength hair mask (for dark hair only, not recommended for blonde and white hair), in combination with other plant powders (sage, rosemary, nettle, etc.), clay or rhassoul
• in a homemade detangling treatment, combined with marshmallow powder
• as a shine-enhancing rinse lotion to tighten hair scales, after aqueous maceration
• as a hair colourant to revive red and mahogany highlights, combined with colouring plant powders

Its antioxidant-rich composition makes hibiscus powder an ally for dull, tired and mature skin, helping to prevent the appearance of wrinkles, slow down skin ageing and brighten the complexion with a healthy glow. The fruit acids provide the skin with their regenerating effect to bring out its radiance.

How to use it for beautiful skin?

• in a toning, healthy-glow or youthful face mask, combined with other plant powders, clay or rhassoul
• in an illuminating facial scrub, combined with clay and a plant exfoliant
• in a beauty oil, after oily maceration
• in a skincare lotion, after aqueous maceration

• Hisbiscus powder is very active, so we recommend you carry out a test in the crease of the elbow 48 hours before use to check that there is no reaction.
• Always use in combination with other powders and/or clays; do not use pure on the skin.
• This powder is very colour-forming, so we do not recommend it for light, blond or white hair.
• Hibiscus powder is very fine and volatile, so we advise you to protect your respiratory tract when using it by wearing goggles and a protective mask for the nose and mouth.
• Keep out of reach of children
• Avoid contact with eyes and rinse thoroughly with clean water in case of contact.
