Natural mint toothpaste

A recipe inspired by the book "Ma cosm?tique minimaliste" by Pauline Dehecq. Very easy to make, this natural home-made toothpaste recipe gently cleans teeth, contributes to good oral hygiene and freshens breath. This toothpaste is used like a regular toothpaste. Simply apply a small amount to your toothbrush and brush your teeth as usual. Ingredients for one 30 ml jar of toothpaste 40 g calcium carbonate or 5 level tablespoons 20 g organic aloe vera gel or 3 tablespoons 5 g vegetable glycerine or 1 tablespoon 5 g peppermint hydrosol or 2 teaspoons. You can also opt for a hydrosol of noble laurel with purifying properties or blackcurrant, ideal for children. 5 drops of peppermint essential oil * or lemon or sweet orange (for children). Choose according to your taste. Preparation 1- Pour the calcium carbonate into a bowl and add the aloe vera gel. 2- Mix with a spoon until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous paste. 3- Add the glycerine and mix briskly until the mixture is homogeneous. 4- Finish by adding the rest of the ingredients one by one, mixing well between each ingredient. 5- Transfer to a small jar that has been disinfected. Conservation : Your recipe will keep for one month. Pauline Dehecq adds 3 drops of grapefruit seed extract and 1 teaspoon of propolis to her recipe for preservation. Precautions for use: the use of the essential oil of peppermint is not appropriate to the pregnant and nursing women as well as to the children of less than 12 years and the epileptic subjects.
