How to moisturise and refresh your skin in summer?

What plant-based skin care products should you use to moisturise your skin and refresh yourself in the summer, when the heat is on or in the event of a heatwave?

Peppermint hydrosol, aloe vera gel, hyaluronic acid moisturizers and synergy for light legs, discover some tips to wrap yourself in beneficial plants in summer.

Maintain the skin's natural moisture content

On the face, opt for a thirst-quenching duo: organic aloe vera gel and « Douceur et Equilibre » Cream. To increase the moisturizing power of your care products, add hyaluronic acid of plant origin, to be dosed between 0.1 and 0.5% of the total weight of your care product.

Tip: make a moisturising mask once a week with aloe vera gel, hyaluronic acid and Damask rose hydrosol.

On the body, wrap yourself in neutral body milk just after the shower, on skin that is still very slightly damp, to avoid crocodile skin.

And remember to drink pure water throughout the day!

Refreshing with hydrosols

Hydrosols are very pleasant in summer. The most refreshing is peppermint, to be sprayed on the face and body at any time of the day. You can also spray a rose geranium, fine lavender, blackcurrant, chamomile or cornflower hydrosol, to be kept in the fridge for a frosty effect.

Keeping your legs light

To relieve the sensation of heavy legs during hot weather, apply our "Sang pur Sang" massage oil, working upwards from the feet to the legs. Its synergy of essential oils of juniper, cypress, peppermint, grapefruit and mastic tree invigorates the blood circulation and brings freshness and vigour to the whole body.

In case of pregnancy, prefer a mixture of macadamia and calophylla inophylla vegetable oils, without essential oils.

Cooling your home in a heat wave

In case of very hot weather or a heatwave, to cool down the rooms in your house, dry your clothes in the house and spray peppermint hydrosol on the clothes for a refreshing effect.
