A major aromatic plant, thyme grows in very compact clumps. Its stem is dry and tortuous and it has many branches that flower from May to August. Depending on its biotope (altitude, sunshine, soil, etc.), it produces essential oils of varying chemotypes. This is Thyme with Thymol, or "Strong Thyme", with its typical phenol fragrance.

Essential oil with a high thymol content, a vitalizing molecule. It also contains monoterpenes, with a strong presence of paracymene, a soothing compound. It should be used sparingly and with care.
