Angelica Mood-Lifting Roll-On - organic

This large, beautiful umbelliferous plant from northern Europe appreciates discreet light and moist soil. In centuries gone by, the root of the ‘angel herb’ was considered to be an absolute panacea, rather like that other root of Asian origin: ginseng. Its essential oil is made up of monoterpenes, esters and coumarins.

Properties of the essential oil at 100% concentration

A persistent, slightly peppery, musky, balsamic aroma. The deep tone characteristic of a root, with original nuances of earth and water.

In the Middle Ages, it was considered to be a miraculous plant, capable of warding off the evil eye, warding off disease and, what interests us most here, correcting the ‘melancholic temperament’.

In fact, this EO is used to combat nervous weakness, deep-seated fear, lack of perseverance and difficulty in making choices.

Anti-asthenic, it is logically a major EO for combating addictions of all kinds. Experiments have shown that it is effective in helping alcoholic temperament.

It harmonises and amplifies breathing, making it a possible partner for yoga and meditation sessions.

Apply the oleo-oil perfume to the inside of your wrists, rub them together, bring them up to your nostrils and breathe in the aroma deeply several times. Later, you can apply it to other entry points: hollows of the elbows, solar plexus, neck and nape of the neck, soles of the feet. Specific precaution for angelica: do not apply to skin that will be immediately exposed to daylight, or wait at least half an hour.
