Autumn rituals for energy, immunity, skin and hair
Summary
Summary
Red leaves, shorter days, mist and rain, no doubt about it, autumn is here! Nature is preparing for the cold season and like her, we are descending towards our inner self. At this time of year, we can feel a drop in morale, duller and more tired skin, hair loss... don't panic, it's normal! We reveal our little autumn rituals to fully enjoy this beautiful season without losing energy.
To prevent seasonal depression, we think of citrus essential oils, well known for their optimizing action. Grapefruit, sweet orange, mandarin, to be diffused together or alongside relaxing essential oils such as lavender, petitgrain, ylang-ylang.
A small roll-on to overcome seasonal depression, fight against fatigue and keep a sunny disposition. Apply to the wrists and solar plexus when needed.
Fill your roll-on bottle with hazelnut vegetable oil. Then add the essential oils, place the roll-on cap on, shake, it's ready!
To gently drain the liver, stimulate immunity and regain energy. Every morning and evening for 21 days, take 3 drops of organic lemon essential oil in a little vegetable oil (rapeseed oil for example). This treatment is for adults only and is not suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
To strengthen your immunity and prepare for winter, consider our Immunity synergy.
An autumn routine for the skin Once the summer tan is gone, the skin can look tired, the features drawn and the complexion dull. To restore radiance to the complexion, adopt a natural skin care routine: once a week, a steam bath with plants followed by a gentle scrub and then a clay mask.
The steam opens the pores of the skin and frees the skin from toxins. It is an ideal treatment to prepare the skin for a mask or scrub. The synergy of lavender, sage and rose gently soothes and purifies the skin.
Pour two tablespoons of hydrosol and a handful of dry herbs into a large bowl of hot water and place your face over the bowl with a towel over your head to prevent the steam from escaping. Enjoy the steam bath for five minutes.
If you have very sensitive skin with a tendency to couperose, the steam bath will not be suitable because of the heat.
A complete treatment, suitable for all skin types. Hazelnut oil helps to balance and purify the skin, jojoba oil protects the skin and rosehip oil has a regenerating and healthy glow thanks to its rich carotenoid content.
In autumn, it is normal to see an increase in hair loss. To limit this loss, this is the ideal time to use regular plant-based treatments that will help strengthen the hair and restore it to full health.
A powerful scalp stimulant to slow down hair loss, strengthen hair and add shine!
Massage this oil into the dry scalp and gently massage the scalp with your fingertips. You can also apply a small amount to the lengths and ends of your hair in case of dry ends and damaged lengths. Leave on for 20 minutes to overnight.
Follow with an herbal powder mask and a gentle shampoo.
A mask with rhassoul, marshmallow and mustard powders to stimulate growth and beautify hair.
How to make: mix the powders, vegetable oil and aloe vera gel, then warm water until you have a smooth and homogeneous paste.
Apply to the scalp, massaging lightly, after taking an oil bath. Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes, moisten lightly and rinse. Rhassoul is a natural shampoo, so this treatment can be enough to wash your hair. If you find that this is not enough, follow with a mild shampoo.
