Flower petals for the face, to be dipped in hot water to make floral steam baths.
This mixture gathers petals of mallow, roman chamomile, calendula, lavender, Damask rose and centifolia rose cultivated in our gardens, harvested by hand and dried in our plant dryer, for a 100% local and plant-based care.
When in contact with the hot water, the petals dance in your bowl and the water takes on a beautiful emerald colour thanks to the mallow petals.
The steam bath opens the pores of the skin and frees the skin from toxins. It is a soothing ritual, ideally performed before applying a mask or scrub.
The ritual:
Bring a small pot of water to a simmer. Meanwhile, pour a handful of flowers into a large bowl. Pour the simmering water over the flowers. Place your face, previously washed and make-up removed, on top of the flowers, under a towel to keep the steam in. Close your eyes and breathe in the scent of the flowers for 5 minutes.
Then apply a gentle scrub and/or a clay mask.
This flower steam bath is suitable for all skin types, except for skin prone to redness or couperose which will not appreciate the hot steam.
