Black pepper
A spice used in Greek antiquity and a treasure used as a currency in the Middle Ages. Cultivated since the 16th century, the pepper plant attaches itself to and wraps itself around trees with few leaves to support it. Its long spikes of flowers give rise to berries, which dry out after harvesting and become pretty little peppercorns. The essential oil extracted from it gives us all the strength of this beautiful tropical vine, with its warm and spicy aromas.
