Some ideas for flavouring your herbal teas with hydrosols. We advise you not to use boiling water to avoid denaturing the hydrosols.
Peppermint hydrosol in hibiscus and pomegranate seed tea
Infuse 4g of hibiscus flowers in a cup of hot water, add a small handful of pomegranate seeds and leave to infuse for ten minutes. Filter and add a teaspoon of peppermint hydrosol.
Blackcurrant hydrosol in a chamomile and blueberry tea
Infuse 1.5g of chamomile flowers in a cup of hot water, add a small handful of blueberries and leave to infuse for five minutes. Filter and add a teaspoon of blackcurrant hydrosol. To be taken after meals (helps digestion).
Rose hydrosol in a tea of rose petals and fresh lychees
Infuse a pinch of rose petals in a cup of hot water, add 2 peeled, pitted and cut lychees and leave to infuse for five minutes. Filter and add a teaspoon of rose hydrosol.
