Recipe for a rich balm for very dry areas

This rich and nourishing balm soothes, regenerates and promotes the elasticity of the skin.

Without essential oils, it is suitable for pregnant women and is also perfect for preventing stretch marks.

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons of shea butter
  • 2 tablespoons of avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon of rosehip vegetable oil
  • (Optional) Depending on your taste, choose between 10 to 15 drops of essential oil of lavender, petitgrain bigarade, neroli, clementine, Roman chamomile, red mandarin...

Material

Preparation

Melt the shea butter in a bain-marie without heating it too much, then add the vegetable oils and any essential oils out of the bain-marie. Pour the mixture into a 100 ml jar.

Application

This very rich and nourishing balm soothes, regenerates and promotes the elasticity of the skin. Apply it to the whole body or only to very dry areas (feet, elbows, legs...). Without essential oils, it is suitable for pregnant women and is also perfect for preventing stretch marks!

This recipe can be kept for 6 months (if you have a mortar, you can also make this recipe by crushing the vegetable oils and shea butter in the mortar, without going through the water bath).
