Essential Oils

Organic Wild Carrot essential oil

Very common in our regions, the wild carrot can be recognised by its small white flowers gathered in large umbels. After fertilisation, once the fruits have reached maturity, this inflorescence closes in the form of small birds' nests. The leaves and root have a carrot-like scent, while the seeds are more reminiscent of pears. Its essential oil is fresh and slightly acidic.

This should be taken into account when using them. Our opinion The essential oil of wild carrot obtained from the umbels, i.e. the flowers, is different from that obtained from the seeds. It therefore has different notes... slightly floral, fruity.
