Calendula, organic sun macerate in organic jojoba oil

• Produced in Belgium by Bioflore. Solar maceration in organic jojoba oil, first cold pressed, with added vitamin E.

This solarized macerate is made from calendulas grown in Bioflore's gardens. Hand-picked, the calendula flowers have been placed in a solarised maceration in organic jojoba oil. After filtration, this results in a very gentle, 100% local care product, made with love in Belgium! 

This calendula macerate - marigold being its traditional name - is beneficial to the skin and its protective, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties are well known. Calendula is well suited to sensitive, allergic and suffering skin. A traditional use is to use it to soothe the fragile skin of babies. It is interesting to use it as an excipient for essential oils with similar virtues.
